This whimsical sculpture explores the importance of pollinators. It is the permanent centerpiece for Avanti High School’s pollinator garden, houses native bee habitat, and is used as a teaching tool for elementary and high school students. I love how the medium, ferro-cement, brings together my love for painting and sculpture in a permanent, versatile way.
